The NAGA imprint emerges with its first instalment courtesy of Siadic, a brotherly duo collaborating from across Turtle Island. The brothers are highly regarded throughout the Canadian festival circuit for their all-original live sets, and their music is always meticulously engineered to sound just as impressive on large soundsystems as it does through good headphones in a dark room. "Metro" is no exception.

The aptly titled "Beginnings" opens the release with twisting, bubbling arps underpinned by a classic dubstep framework, and from there the release weaves through seven enveloping soundscapes, each permeated by warm bass & textured drums. “Intrinsic” & “Kinetics” take a 4/4 approach, the former echoing the post-dubstep movement of the early 2010s & the latter a winding arpeggio excursion driven by muted kicks.

Midway through the release, “Metro” returns to broken-beat rhythms with shuffling foley and swelling pads, followed by “Pasture”, a cavernous, break-driven cut of ambient bass music - both standout cuts on the release. Victoria’s Scree Running rounds off the EP with their reconstruction of “Metro”, a clubbier version drenched in bendy pads & hypnotic synths.
